    Doing well.

Ahh the joys of parenthood, 42 Nappies per day, 18 bottles, and 3 hours sleep... thats just the wife.

No problems to report, as you would have seen from the early photos, Casey had a bad case of pimples, i put it down to being squeezed through a hole about half the size of her head, the nurse told us it was becuase we ate chillies and then kissed her..... i sent the nurse packing.

he skin has now cleared and looks great, eyes have opened and she is starting to look around and take notice of things....

the oldies have been here for a month already, and wil stay until december, im not sure if the oldgirl has the will power to leave the baby and get on the plane,, will keep you posted.

On the local front, had a classic Vietnamese moment the other day, picture very very very heavy monsoon rain, a man on a motorbike with an umbrella. !! goota love it...

All's well in the land of the Asending Dragon

Parenthood comes with a few a few strange events, even more so in Vietnam, imagine streams of people you or your wife have never met simply dropping into your hospital room to compare you and your babies features, I suppose that being the only western/Vietnamese baby in the hospital made us bit of a must see item.

Nhung entered the Delevier room around 3pm and we didn't get to speak or see her until the baby was delivered and she was in her room. We did bribe a nurse to take a mobile phone in for a few minutes at about 5pm, the baby wasn't deleivered until 9.15pm.

Totally natural birth, here in Vietnam they dont give you drugs, or anything, just oxygen and tell you to push a lot. Nhung has stated clearly that the next one will be delivered under the knife.

    all for now.
